So this morning my mother-in-law called to say the buses aren't running and the girls don't have to go to school. We only live a block or so away and we could have walked or whatever - but we were already kind of running late, and they never do much at school when the buses don't run and less than half the kids would be there. So, the girls stayed home with me today.

Oh, man, you just brought back some happy memories. I loved playing in the snow until I was thoroughly wet and cold. Then we'd come in and change clothes, hang our wet stuff on the radiators, and have some cocoa. We had buttered toast with ours, though.
What fun pics! It looks like y'all had a good snow day. Every once in a while I wish we'd get enough snow here to actually play in it.
